Contains: Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis
Used Against: Mosquitoes and fungus gnat larvae (also used in Africa for the control of blackfly larvae)
Dosage: Average 40 g per 10 litre water/ 1000 m² breeding areas.
Area/Crop: Ponds, marsh and wet areas, lawn and potting soil.
Environmental hazard: Kills larvae of mosquitoes and fungus gnats. No harmful toxic residues. No secondary poisoning. Can be used over breeding areas of mosquitoes, e.g. fish ponds. Harmless to bees, birds, fish, pets, wildlife, most beneficial aquatic insects and natural predators. Does not kill adult mosquitoes, only larvae. Very low dosage. Non persistent in the environment.
The Emjay® Insert Male Adaptor (P x MI) is used for connecting a polyethylene pipe to a B.S.P. threaded pipe, fitting or instrument. It has a standard Emjay® barb on one side with a male BSP thread on the other. A common use is as a takeoff from a manual or electric solenoid valve.
The Emjay® Insert Elbow is used for a pipeline which is required to turn through a 90° bend. It has two legs of the same size to join two lengths of polypipe of the same size. The use of Elbows is advised where the pipe needs to bend around a sharp corner which could kink the pipe if the Elbow were not used.
